I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were well cleaned and stocked with towels, soap, and shampoo, creating a peaceful ambiance. Every room I stayed in was perfect, quiet, and serene. The deli onsite served delicious sandwiches, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The full restaurant on-site offered delicious breakfast options. The price might be a bit above $180, but it's totally worth it.

The staff was incredibly helpful, especially to a tired traveler like me who arrived at 3 am. They were responsive to requests and accommodating even when we were outside having cocktails at night.

The location was wonderful, making it easy to access Stanford and other attractions. The hotel is safe, albeit a bit run down, but has a lovely courtyard and a tree-covered creek.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were equipped with convenient amenities like a mini fridge and microwave, but they didn't quite live up to the advertised standards. The large heater in the room was noisy and disrupted my sleep throughout the night. On the bright side, the service was exceptional, providing a pleasant respite from the busy surroundings, with the staff going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms, though equipped with useful features like a mini fridge and microwave, fell short of the advertised quality. The noisy heater was quite bothersome.
Service
9.0
The service at the hotel was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I was well taken care of during my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was excellent for those with business near Stanford or visiting Stanford University. However, the limited breakfast options and early closure of the convenience store were minor inconveniences.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience left much to be desired. The minimal offerings, like just a muffin and coffee, were underwhelming. Adding jam and butter to the rolls could have improved the breakfast significantly.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel's facilities were satisfactory, offering the basics for a comfortable stay, but there was room for improvement in the dining options.

The staff at the property was friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming environment. They were attentive and willing to assist guests, which enhanced the overall stay experience. However, the noise level from the hall outside my room was disruptive at times.
Location

The hotel is situated in a great location in central Palo Alto, close to everything. The courtyard area next to the lobby offers a relaxing space for guests to unwind. The two-story units near the office have a romantic charm, adding an extra touch to the stay.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was very simple and limited, with basic choices and early closure times. The breakfast options consisted of only muffins and danishes, which might not meet the expectations of guests looking for a more varied meal.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offers outstanding maid service and a pleasant atmosphere overall. However, the dining options could be improved to provide a more satisfying culinary experience for guests.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a traditional hotel style that I found cozy. The service from the front desk to the deli employees was very helpful and made my stay more enjoyable. The location was perfect for my needs, whether it was for a business trip close to downtown Palo Alto or to attend a sports event at Stanford University. The dining options were basic but satisfactory, and the freshly baked cookies were a nice touch.
